Here I Stand 03:42
2.
So I reach out my hand to hold you down But you slip out of my grasp, and into the ground You are a vision of what I once was with layers of friction you are lost into the dark In the night, I wonder out loud in a haze of heat and sound do I fear eternity? or find rest in its promise to me? At the end of it all at the end of the day I am made up of all my mistakes my lungs are painted black but my mind is darker still I am a grain of sand on this Northern Shore How did I get this way over time? I can't seem to find the light (x3) in this fog of my mind (x3) will I find calm in this storm? In the night, I wonder out loud, in a haze of heat and sound.

Of The Earth 05:22
You took all the life I held in my hands, and left me shivering and alone. And when you left you looked back to me and said, I hope you find what you've been looking for. I'm in a dream. The smoke clears from my head and you are standing right in front of me with arms outstretched and you wrap me in a warm embrace. And hold me tight until my legs stop kicking against your currents. So hold me tight.

Twenty Three 03:34
And from far away, I see you shine, like a diamond, so bright. And from up above, I see you burn, your flames reach high, to the heavens. But from this height, I don't think I can see your worth. I don't think I can feel your heat. Both blind and numb and twenty-three.

And I will fly away No one can touch me No one can see me Just me and the clouds And I will find peace With my mortality When will you pass by? When will I feel your warmth? When will you pass by? When will I see the source?

Ephemeris 03:44

But your face on the ocean floor has been lost in my tides, and in my heart. I just can't see that far, but do I really want to? Do I want to try? I don't really think so. No, I don't think I do In fear of what I might find, in fear of what you might see in me And now the sun rises on me. Would you look at the walls of this room and wonder to yourself: are they keeping you together? Or keeping you contained? I wish I could drift away, into the ocean by your tides in your mind. In hopes of what you might see in me And now the sun rises on me. I look at the walls of this room and wonder to myself: Why do I let them keep me contained?

I am not a wolf in sheep's clothing, I'm just a wolf I take and devour whatever I long for, to start a fire inside of my soul When I look up into the sky it all seems fleeting. We are striving to be put in the ground And if only the good die young, then why are we all still here? Why does the sun still shine? and the flowers still grow? (x4) Flowers still grow. At the end of the day I'm just a man. At the end of it all I'm just a soul. But deep down inside, I'm just a wolf. Winter has frozen all the air in my lungs and I cannot catch my breath. My mind has found it's rut, caught the words in my mouth and I cannot find my tongue. So here I stand at the end of all things planted firmly on this northern sand, I look up into the sky and see the sun is still shining, look at the forest behind me, and the flowers still grow.
